Note: If there are specific skills or areas the student would like to work on, please let the instructor know at the start of the lesson so the sessions can be tailored to address those needs. Otherwise, the instructor will identify and focus on the areas where the instructor notice deficiencies during the lesson.

The Teen Road Test Package with Two Driving Lessons at My First Drive gives teens extra time to prepare before taking their official Texas road test. This package offers two hours of behind-the-wheel instruction as well DPS-authorized road test, giving students more room to build confidence and correct any lingering habits before the exam.
This package is designed for teens who have the required driving experience but want a quick refresher — a brief practice window to smooth out weak spots rather than simply reviewing them. With two hours of instruction, the student can spend the first portion of the lesson identifying and working through areas that need attention, then use the remaining time to reinforce those improvements until they feel steady. Throughout the session, the student can direct the instructor toward specific skills they want to sharpen and request honest feedback on their readiness for the exam.

Required Documents for the Teen Road Test
To take the road test, students must bring the following:
- A valid Texas Learner's Permit
- Texas Driver License Application for Minor (DL-14B)
- IMPACT Texas Teen Driver (ITTD) Certificate
- Texas Driver Education Certificate (32-hour classroom or online course)
- 30-hour Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Driving Log | Example
Note: A teen must hold the permit for at least 6 months before a teen is eligible to take the road test.
