PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Adult Three-Lesson DPS Road Test Package at My First Drive Driving School provides adults with additional preparation before completing their Texas DPS road test. With three hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, students have more time to practice, receive instructor feedback, and improve their overall driving confidence before the examination.
This package is a great option for adults who want more than a quick refresher or who feel they would benefit from additional practice before taking their road test. The instructor will evaluate the student’s driving and help focus the lessons on skills that may need additional attention.
3 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL DRIVING LESSONS
The three driving lessons give students an opportunity to review important driving skills and practice areas that may be challenging. Students can also request additional practice with specific maneuvers or driving situations.
Depending on the student’s needs, the lessons may include:

Turning and lane positioning

Lane changes and merging

Speed and following distance

Traffic signs and signals

Parking and other driving maneuvers

Proper use of mirrors and turn signals

General vehicle control and safe driving habits
The additional practice time allows students to work on their skills at a comfortable pace and receive feedback from a qualified instructor.
TEXAS AUTHORIZED DPS ROAD TEST
After completing the driving lessons, students can take the Texas-authorized DPS road test through My First Drive Driving School. Students may schedule the road test based on available appointment times and their personal schedule.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE ADULT ROAD TEST
Students must meet all applicable Texas DPS requirements and provide the necessary documentation before taking the road test. Documents may include:

Valid Texas Learner’s Permit

Texas Driver License Application

IMPACT Texas Adult Driver (ITAD) Certificate

Required Adult Driver Education Certificate, if applicable

Any other documents required by Texas DPS
