PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This adult driver’s ed program in Texas is designed for adults 18 years and older who have a learner’s permit and are ready to advance toward a full driver’s license. TDLR-certified, this package provides extensive behind-the-wheel training in Texas and concludes with the DPS driving test, making it the most thorough and convenient option for adult learners seeking confidence and safety on the road.

16 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL TRAINING

Students receive 16 hours of personalized, one-on-one driving instruction with a licensed TDLR instructor. These lessons cover essential skills including city and highway driving, lane changes, defensive driving strategies, parallel and angle parking, intersection navigation, speed control, and readiness for the Texas DPS road test.

The program is fully tailored to each student’s experience level. Beginners receive extra guidance to build confidence, while experienced learners can focus on refining skills and test preparation. Lessons are available seven days a week with flexible online scheduling, and all vehicles are equipped with dual controls for maximum safety.

Note: Students must have a valid Texas learner’s permit before starting in-car lessons.

DPS ROAD TEST

Included in the package is the official Texas DPS driving exam, conducted on-site at our driving school. This option provides a familiar, low-stress environment, eliminates long waits at DPS offices, and allows students to take the test immediately after completing their behind-the-wheel training.

Road Test Requirements:

• Must hold a current Texas learner’s permit
• Completion of the IMPACT Texas Young Drivers online program
