PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Texas adult driver’s ed program is specifically designed for adults 18 and older who already hold a learner’s permit and are preparing to obtain a full driver’s license. Fully certified by TDLR, this program provides extensive behind-the-wheel experience and culminates with the DPS driving test in Texas. It’s a comprehensive solution for adult learners seeking a safe, efficient route to licensure.

10 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL TRAINING

Students will complete ten hours of individualized in-car instruction with a TDLR-certified instructor. Lessons are designed to enhance practical driving skills, including defensive driving, proper lane positioning, parking, navigating intersections, handling highway traffic, and mastering techniques needed to pass the DPS road test.

The training is fully customized to each student’s skill level, providing extra support for new drivers or confidence-building practice for those approaching the DPS exam. Lessons are scheduled seven days a week with flexible online booking, and all vehicles are equipped with dual controls to ensure safety during instruction.

Important: A valid Texas learner’s permit is required before starting behind-the-wheel lessons.

DPS ROAD TEST

This package also includes the official Texas DPS road test, administered at our licensed driving school. Testing on-site eliminates the long waits at DPS offices and allows students to take their exam in a familiar, comfortable setting, improving performance and reducing test-day anxiety.

Road Test Requirements:

• Must hold a current Texas learner’s permit
• Completion of the IMPACT Texas Young Drivers online course

With this complete adult driving program in Texas, students gain extensive behind-the-wheel practice and can complete the DPS road test all in one convenient location.
