PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Texas adult driver’s education program is designed for adults 18 and older who already hold a learner’s permit and want the most comprehensive driver training available. TDLR-certified, this package pairs extensive behind-the-wheel driving instruction with the official DPS road test, giving students the experience, confidence, and official certification needed to drive safely and legally throughout Texas.

37 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL TRAINING

Students receive 37 hours of personalized in-car driving lessons with a TDLR-certified instructor. The program covers defensive driving, city and highway navigation, lane management, parking techniques, traffic control, turning maneuvers, and all skills necessary to pass the Texas DPS road exam. Instruction is tailored to each student’s experience level, ensuring comprehensive skill development and confidence behind the wheel.

Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduling is flexible through online booking. All vehicles are equipped with dual controls for safety, and instructors provide detailed feedback at the end of each session. This extensive training ensures students are fully prepared for real-world driving challenges and the DPS driving test.

Important: Students must have a valid Texas learner’s permit before starting in-car instruction.

DPS ROAD TEST

The program also includes the official Texas DPS driving test, administered at our licensed driving school. Taking the exam on-site allows students to perform in a familiar, controlled environment and eliminates long waits at DPS offices. Completing both training and testing at the same location streamlines the licensing process for adult learners.

Road Test Requirements:

• Must have a valid Texas learner’s permit
• Completion of the IMPACT Texas Young Drivers (ITYD) course
