PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This adult driver education package is designed for individuals 18 years and older who already hold a valid Texas learner’s permit and want to complete the next steps toward earning their driver’s license. Fully approved by TDLR, this program focuses on practical driving skills and concludes with the official DPS road exam, giving students everything they need to become safe, confident drivers in Texas.

6 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL LESSONS

Students will receive six hours of personalized, one-on-one instruction with a licensed TDLR driving instructor. Each session is structured to build real-world driving experience, covering critical skills such as defensive driving, lane changes, parking, speed control, and preparing for the DPS test. Our instructors adapt the lessons to the student’s comfort level, whether they are just beginning to drive or looking to refine their skills before testing.

Lessons are available seven days a week, and scheduling is flexible with easy online booking. All training takes place in dual-controlled vehicles to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort.

Important: Students must already have a valid Texas learner’s permit before beginning in-car lessons.

DPS ROAD TEST

The package also includes the official Texas DPS driving test. Instead of waiting for limited availability at a DPS office, students can take their exam directly at our authorized driving school. This option provides a faster, more convenient path to obtaining a driver’s license while testing in a familiar environment.

Road Test Eligibility:

• Must hold a valid learner’s permit
• Completion of the IMPACT Texas Young Drivers program

With this streamlined package, adult drivers can complete behind-the-wheel training and the DPS skills test all in one place, saving both time and effort. It is the fastest and most convenient way to transition from a learner’s permit to a full Texas driver’s license.
