Yes, adults age of 18 to 24 are requires to successfully complete 6 hours of driver education before you can apply for a learner permit.

Adult age 25 or higher are not required to take the 6-hour course, but it is highly recommended. Our 6-hour course has a built-in test which means you do not have to take the permit test at the DPS office.
